FINISHES

 

Our specialist finishes both enhance the aesthetic appeal of the curtain and significantly improve the lifespan of the product. We have a proven range of standard colours to choose from and can also provide bespoke colours on request. Our consultants will guide you as to the most appropriate finish for your particular application. Please note that the site's colour samples are indicative only.

 

Powder Coated

 

Our factory is unique in that it has its own in-house state-of-the-art powder coating plant where consistency and quality can be guaraneed. We have specific products for both interior and exterior doors and utilise both epoxy and polyester colours. UV-resistant shades are also available. The powder-coating process begins in the nine stage pre-treatment plant that accommodates, mild steel,galvanized and aluminium. This is followed by electro-static application of the powder, after which the items are oven-cured to the exact metal temperature. The result is an attractive, durable, high-quality finish. (Powder coating is not available for the Grille range)

Wet Spray
 

Often more economical, our Wet Spray process is run by highly skilled technicians to achieve a quality finish.

 

Anodising

 

As an alternative, our aluminium products can be anodised. We offer two standard colours and can also negotiate custom finishes.

 

Galvanising

 

All exposed roller shutter parts, such as columns, tubing, Mild Steel T-Sections, guides and end plates, can be hot-dipped galvanised or electro galvanised on request. This excludes slats and the canopy, which are already mill galvanised items.

 

Mill Finish

 

Mill Finish is the natural appearance of the metal as it comes from the rolling mill, with no additional mechanical or chemical processing.
